Healthcare Engineering Mentoring Program

As another free service of HEALS, the Healthcare Engineering Mentoring Program (HEMP) is a platform where healthcare engineering professionals and leaders volunteer to share their knowledge, skills and experience to help engineering students prepare for occupations in the healthcare/medical technology industry, and to help young healthcare engineers thrive.

 

A mentee will have opportunities to increase network, to receive help on setting realistic career goals and how to reach them, and to gain wise professional perspective and insight from an experienced healthcare engineering professional.

A mentor will have opportunities to develop leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills, to gain a fresh perspective from younger members of the profession, to encourage their growth by providing ideas, and to positively impact their career development.
